The Bubbling Cauldron Cafe

This group of people is beyond knowledgeable about how to create a welcoming atmosphere in our community. They have given us a space that is unlike anything on our coastline. I love everything about this place; the attention to detail in their decorating AND food prep. Also, the food and drinks are to-die for. I literally ate myself sick there and will totes do it over and over again. You walk out with new friends because the staff is not only professional but extremely competent and friendly! Our town is not really know for its fun quirky places, so when I heard that we got a gluten free bakery and boba tea place set in a wizard world I knew I had to try it. While their hours are limited right now, I assume that will pick up as word spreads. Just the atmosphere is enticing. Well decorated with a smart layout, they have different seating areas to meet many needs. Regular high top tables, a gaming table, and a nice loveseat nook, you are sure to find a comfortable spot. Over near the loveseat nook is a variety of deck building and board games to borrow while you are there to play with friends new and old. Now the food, as I mentioned, their bakery goods are gluten free. I have never really liked gluten free foods so never felt the need to try more options as I got older. I do not have the “need” to avoid glutens, although my waistline would suggest otherwise, so I did not intend to eat. However, when I saw they had bubble waffles and then all the flavor combinations, I reluctantly ordered one with bananas and my son got the chocolate peanut butter one. For a small up-charge we added bacon on the side. I figured worst case scenario I had bacon. To say my expectations were exceeded is an understatement. Not only was the waffle amazing, it was so amazing that I didn’t even finish my bacon. I’m pretty sure that should have been impossible. I’ve made personal blts with a whole package of bacon before and yet I threw some away. So the shape is exactly as described, a bubble. Each bubble is floridly puffed and while they all connect, the edges of each puff were crispy golden brown. Each bite was perfect. We both went there for the boba. I had mango tea with mystery and blueberry boba and my son had the butter brew as well as a Thai boba. Get the large, the kids and regular are not much cheaper but much smaller so the large is the best value. Also add extra boba, as that was my only complaint is that they didn’t use much. They did mix the Thai tea up which is definitely not the traditional way it’s served but my son loved the flavor. The butter brew was unique. It was a lightly carbonated drink with an initial cream soda taste and ended with a note of caramel. And last but not least, the staff. While I did forget the names, this applies to all who worked today. Very nice and not only passionate about their customer service but choose to go above and beyond. I was curious on the flour used and while initially they were unsure, they went to verify. No made up answers or just a “idk”, which is nice. I am pretty sure that a big portion of the staff (if not all) are just as happy as the customers to be there. That is such a big thing to me. Customers can only be as satisfied as the staff is. When employees enjoy their job, make a fair wage, and believe in their product, it rubs off on all who enter. There are a few for sale items to add on, while the prices are fair, I just have specific stores with more Wiccan products available and more rocks for sale but for those who don’t want to drive to Savannah, you can buy sage here. Give them a shot, you won’t regret it.

We tried the Butterbrew. It was so good! The atmosphere was unique and friendly. If we were locals, I would spend so much time there!

Located off Monk street, it’s sort of difficult to find, but no worries… just follow the trail of hipsters that hang around out front, and you will find yourself walking into a Harry Potter paradise. Although the wait was kind of long, when you finally make it to the cashier, you are greeted by their friendly staff, who also help you understand what you are ordering to make sure you have the best experience. The milk tea boba range in many different flavors. They have an extensive collection of game boards, so you can go in with your kids or childlike adult friends and enjoy some game board fun with friends.

Staff and atmosphere are great! Went with my niece's and other family members for Sunday brunch. The food was meh. Lacking in flavor to be honest. Don't by shy with the seasonings, you're in the south! Fantastic selection of boba tea flavors and the butter beer is so good. They have various board games and card games you can play. Would be an awesome spot to play some D&D. The oweners really nailed the asthetic. I'd recommend going for just a hot drink or boba tea and fun. And again, kitchen team, don't be afraid to add some flavor/seasonings to your dishes!

Delicious waffles, great service, and cute things to buy! Overall fun vibes and good energy! Will be going back for sure!

We didn't just have snacks it was an experience. Can hardly wait for our next visit.
